When reading a chart one of the first things that I look at are the Lunar Node placements. The Lunar Nodes are points that we measure in the sky at your exact time and location of birth. Depending on the sign and the house that these fall in, they will indicate the direction that your soul desires to walk in this lifetime. They will also indicate where you have karma that needs to be resolved.

These points are by far some of the most important aspects to understand in deciphering your Soul Map and unique blueprint. Many people get stuck in their south node placement, as this is more comfortable for them.

However, it becomes painfully obvious that the soul is craving growth and expansion. The North Node walk is quite possibly the most challenging path for the soul, but it is also the path of the greatest reward and most incredible expansion. Once the North Node has been realized, balance and harmony is created between the South and North Node and the South Node may be fully realized.
